Interior Design Services

Starting an interior design project can feel overwhelming. Clients may know how they want their home to feel, but they are often unsure how to bring the furniture, finishes, lighting, colors, and smaller details together.

At Bionki Interiors, our design process begins with a 60-minute consultation at the property. If a client only needs professional ideas and direction, this is offered as a paid design consultation. If the client is interested in hiring us for a complete design or furnishing project, the initial project consultation is complimentary.

During this first meeting, we walk through the home and discuss the scope of the project. Some clients need help furnishing one or more rooms. Others want to update flooring, tile, lighting, paint, and other finishes. Many need support with both construction selections and furnishings.

Once the client decides to move forward, we begin learning more about how they live. We discuss their preferred colors, materials, textures, and overall style, but we also look beyond appearance. We want to understand their family dynamic, lifestyle, daily routines, storage needs, and how each room needs to function.

From there, we develop the design concept. Depending on the project, this may include the color palette, furniture, rugs, lighting, artwork, accessories, window treatments, flooring, tile, countertops, hardware, and other materials.

We then create mood boards to help the client visualize how everything will work together. This is the first major phase of the design process. We present the concept, gather feedback, and make thoughtful adjustments based on the client’s preferences before completing the final design plan.

After the design is approved, we manage the procurement process. We order the furniture and other approved items, communicate with vendors, monitor deliveries, and receive the pieces for inspection. Items are unboxed and checked before being carefully prepared for delivery to the client’s home.

On installation day, I am personally present to oversee the placement of the furniture, rugs, artwork, lighting, accessories, and finishing details. This is when everything shown on the mood boards finally comes together as a complete home.

When construction is involved, I can also accompany the client to showrooms to select tile, flooring, fixtures, and other finishes. We organize those selections into a coordinated presentation that can be shared with the contractor. We are comfortable collaborating with the client’s contractor, or clients may choose to work with one of our trusted professionals.

Our services are flexible and can be adapted to different scopes and budgets. We can furnish one room, complete several spaces, manage an entire home, or provide a more customized luxury furnishing and design experience. We begin with the client’s priorities and investment range, then recommend the best way to use that budget while creating a home that feels personal and thoughtfully finished.
